Summary Capsule: This 30-second CtC preview introduces the four main characters to somber church-like music.
Justin's Review: The first glimpse! I'm already salavating... But, really, there isn't a lot to gleam from this little spot. In the background we hear choral music while the four main characters are introduced. "A Slacker" (Dante) comes into the Quick Stop, flicks on a light, and sits down at the counter; "His Slacker Friend" (Randal) exits the video store and is trampled by a mob; "Silent Bob" lights a stick of dynamite with his cigarette; "Jay" bats the dynamite over to an office building where it explodes near a guy. Then the Clerks logo comes up, with the caption "coming this spring". "Spring" is crossed out and replaced with "summer". "Summer" is crossed out and replaced with "whatever".
I guess the only thing to point out here is the animation style. It's in color (black and white is definitely in the past). Everything here is sharply angled and slightly exaggerated, but it works. The characters are more or less wearing the same type of clothes as in the movie (and, man, is Silent Bob huge!).
May 31st can't come soon enough!
