PoolMan: Ah, there’s nothing better to break a long streak of laziness than a comic! I actually quite enjoyed drawing this one for a couple of key reasons. First, I finally think I drew a half decent Andie. (no, not just cause she’s in her sleepwear) Second, I changed the script to have Dna call me a fool… don’t know why that’s fun, but it is. And third, mini-Jon heads. I sense a running gag coming on… Justin: Part of the fun of writing the scripts for this comic is that there's a space of time between my e-mailing the text to Pooly and his creating the actual comic that can be measured in multiple lunar cycles. So my brain, a vast network of trivial memories supported by the girders of English Lit 402 homework, has very little ability to remember what the heck I've sent him until I see it again in the far future. Or, to make a horribly mangled metaphor simpler, it's like a writing time capsule. In any case, I like my little curly chest hair (go on, feel the monitor, I don't mind), and while Andie is looking very supermodelish, I've grown increasingly fixated over whether women wear nighties with turtlenecks to bed as Clare is sporting. It's quite possible, since I haven't gotten my latest Victoria's Secret catalog, so who knows? |
