In a world where women wear combat boots, where minorities vie for power and recognition (and aren't we all minorities in our own way?), where preppies sneer at the "lower classes", and where it's PC to be PC, well, sometimes there just has to be people to break the curve.
Welcome to PCU (Port Chester University), 1994.
A box office bomb (taking in a little over $4 million) and universally scorned by critics who saw it as an Animal House ripoff, PCU made a comeback through an amazing cult following of college students, anti-PC lovers, and people with a great sense of humor (and we all know how hard it is to find them). This is one of my all-time favorite movies, of which I've seen at least 50 times so far. It's just plain hilarious, yet so true to college society nowadays (it seems political correctness is nearly universal) that it strikes home.
In the space of 80 minutes, dozens of characters, groups, and plots are set up, racing along in a frantic pace on the fateful days of May 6th and 7th, 1994 at a mythical college in Connecticut. No matter who you are, you can find a character that you love in this movie. So it's time for PCU to have it's own internet website!
