TELL US ABOUT HOW YOU FIRST DISCOVERED MRFH, WHAT YOU THOUGHT ABOUT IT, AND HOW YOU CAME ON BOARD AS A WRITER.
I was wasting time at work reading movie reviews on the Movie Review Query Engine and came across a review for Say Anything on the MRFH. I loved the site and sent Justin a deeply charming email begging for the chance to write for them. I'm not even sure if I sent an introduction letter or anyting. I think I might have just sent in a mock up review and asked if I could come on board. Arrogant from the very beginning. That's me!!!!

I just met Sean in real life for the first time. He was my first real Mutant meet up in person. He's like family now. Besides all that lovlieness, I'd have to say that any of the millions of times Justin and I had a disagreement about something that required Sean to step in and make it all better again was always entertaining and educational. And chatting with Andie about girl things for our Girls On Film piece was pretty awesome. Also, I've just been handed something. Hold please. Yes... Also, Drew is friggin' hawt!!! It says so right here on this slip of paper he just gave me.

WHAT WERE SOME OF YOUR PERSONAL FAVORITE ARTICLES & REVIEWS THAT YOU WROTE, AND WHY DO YOU LIKE THEM SO MUCH?
I'm really proud of my You Know, That Guy series. I've always loved character actors and have a super secret power (perhaps it's my mutant power even) that lets me remember every actor ever in everything. So getting the chance to give these often seen but seldom celebrated actors a little internet glory was always a real honor. Plus, I got do dig around on ther internet for tidbits, which is always fun. I also really liked all the mutant on mutant interviews and ongoing debates. I miss you guys!

"Clare is a giant jibbering retard." Perhaps one of the finest insults ever lobbed my way by a total stranger in response to me not loving Unbreakable as much as I was apparently required by all that is right and holy to have loved. Such hatred. Such immature name calling. It really doesn't get any more fun than that.

WHAT ASPECT OF MRFH DO YOU THINK MAKES IT UNIQUELY SPECIAL APART FROM THE REST OF THE INTERNET?
We clearly love movies. And not in a butt-licking sycophantic Ain't It Cool News kind of way. Hee hee!

WHAT WAS THE WORST FILM YOU REVIEWED FOR MRFH, AND WHY?
The Doom Generation.

IF YOU HAD A FRIEND WHO WAS TRYING TO GET INTO CULT CINEMA, WHAT FIVE FILMS WOULD YOU RECOMMEND TO THEM TO WATCH FIRST, AS A PRIMER?
Depends on what kind of cult films we're talking about. Horror? Sex comedy? Documentary? Foreign? Fantasy? Indie? I'll just list the first 5 that come to my head on my list of movies I always try to introduce to people I meet who like movies but haven't seen as many as I have.

It's gotten more polished and expanded to appeal to a wider audience.
