         NEW LOOK, NEW LIFE **************************************

Ah, it's good to be back! After a couple months of extreme lethargy and
hectic college life, we're back to get the MRFH on track. It's fun to do
this every few months or so, because it only forces us to evolve. Anyway,
my goal for the next year is to make the MRFH a household name ("Mom, can
I go MuRFH now?" "Not until you finish your peas, Billy."). We are going
to do that through shameless promotion, a few random kidnappings, and a
         lot of new reviews.

The first step is to tighten up the site somewhat. You might notice the
front page looks a lot different now. The new reviews/additions are
posted right there (for easy, convenient access), and there are new
animated buttons that took me two days to make. We've boiled down our
         numerous categories into five pages:

WHAT IS THIS? Informs the public of the MRFH mission and setup
MUTANT BIOS Bios on the reviewers and correspondants
         TITLES Reviews in alphabetical order
         CATEGORIES Reviews by category
FEATURES A grab bag of stuff, including access to old pages
like the 1st Annual Mutant Awards, the Quotes page,
and old copies of the MUTANT.

The features page, particularly, is looking to grow in some fascinating
         new directions.

         the MUTANT LISTBOT *****************************************

To simplify my life a tad, I've switched over to ListBot for the MUTANT's
operations. We've had a dramatic cut in numbers, subscriber-wise, but
we're lookin' to grow yet once again. Old copies of the MUTANT will be
available on both the FEATURES page and by logging onto the MUTANT ListBot
         and accessing the public archive.

We are also expecting to send out more frequent issues of the MUTANT,
about once a week. Look for some exciting and entertaining articles about
         all things cult.

         and finally...
